Sunflower painting

I like how this one turned out, lots of texture! I have been playing, mixing and experimenting to see what I like best, and I have to say, made a bit of a mess while at it, but it is a happy mess, the kind that leaves you with treasures like when you make a cake :oD


 And here is a detail from the painting. I love the jewel tones here and there:

Very, very nice! The curve of her neck and tilt of her head are just lovely, as are the textures and hues in this painting.

Oh, she is beautiful! Her expression is so thoughtful. Love how the bright flowe=er contrasts with the muted color behind it, and those little peeks of bright periwinkle blue that show around her hair and eyes.

The ultimate compliment is that it makes me want to paint, right now!
