I went, grabbed more paint and went at it with passion. Started with the background, then the hair. And I added a wing, and wrote on it, for a good measure (^_,^)
I am happy now!
This is a sample of the palette I used for this last step, but I did not have the first selection of colors to photograph.
Anyway, this is my post for the Palette and Paint blog, check it out HERE
Happy Paint Party Friday as well!

I love her hair the way it is now. Beautiful painting, Martha!
Martha, I love her! I love the changes!
Thanks Moirah! Thanks Stacy!
Thanks for joining the party this week, it's wonderful to see your palette & Paint! You use a disposable palette too! Aren't they great?
I like how you have finished the painting, the hair is sitting much better now and she has a very peaceful and serene look about her now. The wing is a perfect touch.
I'll be including your painting and palette in the P&P SHOWCASE next Thursday (Australian time).
I like the disposable paper palettes and also Styrofoam plates. Thanks Tracey!
I absolutely love her! She has such pieceful presence about her. And I see what you meant with the hair. It's so much "her" now. :)
You have very fixed bie the end of the play. Abrazos
I actually like all 3 variations a lot!
Wow, she's so peaceful and gorgeous. I really like the changes you made, it totally changed the mood of the painting.
I like the reworked piece too. However, I can see life of this girl in her face. Beautiful.

Martha, your finished painting is gorgeous. I like the hair that is not blowing. That may be because now that I am old, my hair is fine and blows around, getting all messy in the wind. I have always loved hair like in the finished painting. Faye
I actually liked the before and the after. She does look peaceful as was said. Very nice piece Martha. Love it! Happy Holidays!
and happy you should be, you've reworked this piece beautifully. What a wonderful result! ~Happy Paint Party Friday! #40 Robin Panzer Art Studio 33

In those first photos I thought your painting looked fine, nothing bothered me at all and I loved the colors and her serene look. But I LOVE your finished painting! Her sweet little wing and the twist of her hair! Just lovely.

The changes are perfect! She's beautiful!
You build the layers so well in your paintings! And it really does make for a beautiful finished piece. xo
I like your finished angel girl,Ayala.
Maybe when you started you were feeling "flighty" and hassled. i hope with the final serene portrait you have crossed over into "the calm".
Lovely painting Ayala, she is beautiful and I love her hair in the reworked piece. Well done
