Day 8, pencil drawing

For today, I have this portrait of Gotye. In case you don't know who he is, he is a Belgian-Australian musician who has replaced Rupert Penry-Jones in my book, just because he sings :o] Sorry Rupert.

14 x 17 vellum Bristol, sketch and wash graphite, and watercolor pencils in the eyes.
I didn't quite capture his beautiful eyes, but at least I think he looks like him... what do you think?
See his video below and tell me:

In case you have not seen this other viral video, let me show you this Canadian guys, they are awesome!

Hope you had a good time visiting, see you soon!
PS I am so happy my little photo editor program is back ♥ :oP

I just wanted to make you aware I have now changed my link so when you come and visit you can comment on each face indivually instead of the whole page. Thanks for bringing that up but means my earlier link doesn't work anymore. Sorry to be trouble again :)I posted a new link.

Wow, I just looked at the video and I really enjoyed the music and the art. I'd never heard of this artist before but I think that music is kind of addictive--I be back to play it again and again. Thanks!

GREAT, JUST GREAT MARTHA!!! He is a cute Aussie - didn't know he was 50/50 & we Aussies claim everyone if they're a 'bit' Aussie & they are cool... we gave Mel Gibson back to America when he disgraced himself the silly bugger! I knew exactly who this was when I saw it & just go frame it & put it next to your bed ;)

Well done :)

Man face! Very nicely done -- plus I didn't think of it before but I do believe the female faces are outweighing the male faces in this Challenge, so here's to variety!
