It is hot outside!

Wow, it's been so hot for the last few days! in the 100s F. I hope to get a bit cooler over the weekend. Crossing fingers :o)
Guess what? I went to the doctor to double check my thumb, took my Xrays (that now come in a CD, news to me) and.... it was broken! Aggh! They told me it wasn't but I knew something was wrong, after so many months of pain, stiffness and overall annoyance.
Now  I will need a thumb-holder thingamabob (Can't remember the name) and just let it be.
Also will get some acupuncture too just to help with the pain :o/

Enough complains. Now for the hearts:

I made this some time ago with paperclay. Turned out with very nice texture. I will be giving it for a blog giveaway in a future post towards the end of the 31 hearts challenge. More info later!

As for art, here is an image of the sketch I'm working on:

I will be making a video as I paint, so subscribe to see when I upload new stuff in my channel HERE

Keep yourself cool, or warm if you are in Australia and NZ :o)

We were 31 C at 7:30 this morning... imagine? Our winter is about your summer weather, except we get a few Zero or -1 maybe 3 or 5 nights during the winter. I'm sure you get a lot colder that that!

The heat has been bad this year!! You know it's been REAL HOT when you walk outside and it's 95° out and you comment on how nice and cool it feels today :0/

Ayala Art said...

Wouldn't it be great? I send you some heat, you send me some cool air... we were 46 Celsius today! 115 F
Feels almost as hot as last time we went to Las Vegas, you really feel like a piece of bacon hahaah

Ayala Art said...

Exactly! When you feel like 95 is nice, you can just tell it was so much hotter before :o/

Oh, what a happy wonderful sketch (of course she's drinking coffee :) ) Grief so many people are coming to So. FL to cool off. We usually go north to cool off, but I guess we actually do live in paradise. . . . winter and summer.. .. We do have 2-seasons. Blessings, Janet PPF

I don't know if being brave or just plain stubborn ;o]
And I have to say, I have never met a person from NZ I didn't like. You stay warm ok?

Ayala Art said...

Oh, no, of course it is in my right thumb, my writing hand :oS (My "throw books at spiders while pointing the thumb out" hand)
