You totally captivated me with your viedo! Mesmerized!!! Loved watching the magic you made turning the plain skull into a beautiful art piece! Bravo! I also enjoyed hearing your voice. Kept wanting you to hold the mask up to your face to see your eyes looking out of the skull! ;-)

Happy PPF!!! thanks for sharing.

Martha, you did well on the mask. Not being into skull art, I am going to comment on the beautiful young girl you posted on Wednesday. She is just so sweet I want to hug her and adopt her for my granddaughter! congratulations on being the PPF artist of the week.

Thanks Faye! I know, the skulls are very contrasting with the rest of my work, but I like to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, I started too early (for me) but it is a commemoration of our loved ones that passed away. It is right after Halloween and a very rich cultural expression. I don't make the altar or the food. I buy the bread though hehehe can't skip that with hot cocoa!

I love this! Perfect for the Day of the Dead coming up.

Can you help with a problem I have at 29 Faces? I signed up and left the wrong sort of link (#57). Went back and corrected it and think it's correct now. (#59) Can you remove #57? I'd so appreciate it!!

(I didn't see anywhere to comment on that page or I would have commented there :) Thank you so much!!!

This is so cool and so different than your other work. I love it. My daughter's school commemorates Dia de los Muertos instead of Halloween. It's amazing. all 8 grades do art projects inspired by DDLM and they have an all day festival that includes a HUGE altar with pictures of ancestors for every child. It's very cool. xo

I have made two skulls for decoration. I have a friend who tells of this celebration and the singing and ringing of the bells each hour. Thank you for detail and I hope you add comments on Dia de los Muertos during the next month.
