We went to see the movie Les Miserables couple of weeks ago, and we liked it, but I wish I had known more about the scene when Fantine's life turned even worse, because it was not something to watch comfortably with my kid. I know, many movies have worse, including the TV, but I filter a lot :o)
Anyway: tear jerker as expected, visually fantastic, musically fine.
So, my daughter was inspired to create this artwork:
This, made the film better for me.... I am so proud of her (◠‿◠)✌

I still have not seen this movie...but your daughter has done a great job!!! You should be proud of her. Congratulations! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
Great scetches she did!! especcially the young couple on the right is so cute!! She is real talented :)
This movie is on my list. I'm super proud of your daughter too! My goodness, she gets her talent from her Mom. Happy PPF to you both
Hi Martha. Wow you should be very proud of your daughter. She has done a fantastic job. I haven't seen the movie which means I'll probably wait till it's out on DVD. I watched Julie and Julia again for the 100th time. I like to pick a movie, toss it in the player and listen/watch while I'm doing my housework, the little h/w I do that is.:) I've gotten lazy. You know how I know that? Tortillas haven't been made in a couple of weeks. lol. Take care.
Wonderful drawing, the characters are very recognizable and expressive! Your daughter is so talented! :)
Terrific sketches, am sure you are a very proud Mama. Happy PPF and enjoy the weekend, Annette x
expressive and wonderful as ever!
Happy PPF!
Your daughter has lots of talent, they are wonderful.
Your daughter is amazingly talented!!! You should be proud!!!
what a fabulous piece of art your daughter has created! I knew what the movie was all about-saw the original version on tv (1934ish)-no singing-which also was thoroughly enjoyable. Also watched the French version on film.Normally not my thing as I stay away from anything remotely with fighting and bloodshed. But this version on the big screen was stunning!!(even tho I teared up -aLoT).Happy PPF, and to your young un-keep on arting!
How old is your daughter? These are great!
She is 15 :o) Thanks!
You will need a box of Kleenex! Thank you!
Thanks! She is getting so good at the digital stuff.
Thank you Marji! Xo) ... so sweet!
Gloria, I can not even remember last time I made any tortillas! heheh Can you believe I have not watched the Julia movie?
Thank you, I will tell her this
I am ;oD !!
Thanks Susi!
Sharon, thank you !
Stacy thank you!!
I'm guessing without singing the movie has to be more intense....? I haven't seen those older ones.
Wow, Martha! As a Gifted and Talented Specialist I can tell you that your daughter is very gifted. Happy PPF!
Martha, what an artist your daughter is! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, eh? I haven't seen the movie, but I still hope to be able to. It's not the type of movie my dh likes to go to. We hardly ever go to the movies any more so i'll probably have to find a friend to accompany me.
Same for my DH! My movie buddy is my daughter hehe And this is not out typical kind of movie either, I rather laugh, but it is indeed a great production.
Thank you very much! Some of her work, now that she started to do more digital, is unbelievable... but then again, I'm the mom, to me everything is beautiful haha :oD
You are blessed ...with such a talented daughter ...touch wood and God bless :)
SOOO impressive!!!Love your daughters artwork! You must be so proud! I have heard such mixed reviews on Les Miserables! I'll have to see for myself I guess!! A little worried about the sad parts though!! Happy ppf!!
Thanks for sharing!

Your daughter's work is so expressive - just look at those faces! I haven't seen the film, but I have just seen Hugo and I am sure it is something children would love as well - happy film with no nasty bits.
You can be so proud of your daughter. She has the gift of art. (((Hugs)))) from me. Blessings, Janet (thanks so much, I'm the winner, I emailed you)
So glad you all enjoyed the movie. I can't wait to see it... I love musicals.
Wow your daughter did a beautiful portrait of the characters. She is very talented, just like you!
