No. 8 with crazy texture
As much as I love texture, this was particularly difficult to deal with :oD
It is very abstracted, and I am sure it is still in process, since I am not totally done playing with it.... The second one is digitally edited:
For me it looks ready but I know how it can be unfinished...forever! :) Sometimes it's difficult to know what to do if the result is not 100% 'this is it'. Happy PPF!
I prefer the original to the digitally altered piece. It depicts the buffets and scars we obtain through life, while the eyes are still wide and filled with hope.

Beautiful experimentation! I'll have to try some texture one day too :) Very inspiring.
I love the textures! NICE work and Kudos to YOU!
I like that abstract look. It's great Martha. Have a great day.
Beautiful! Valerie
Great texture, gives it a fresco look, lovely!
I just love paintings with texture - it's why I rarely buy prints, you lose the texture!
Happy PPF :)

textures are always so difficult to draw and paint on, especially faces. You have done a grand job Martha. Happy PPF, Annette x

I love the texture. Gives her a little more character and of a story.

Yes, it is quite a challenge to make a face on a heavily textured background. You did a great job!
I really like the texture-it's like wood!
fab texture-love that digital play!
LOvely face, Martha, and the digital version gives it an entirely different feeling.
Wow! You are so brave to do that kind of texturing--and digital, too!
The textures really add beauty! Lovely creation and happy PPF!
Such interesting texture and technic Martha,
Very talented ;D
Happy PPF
You did great with the texture. I just don't seem to get the hang of it. Love your colors. Did you start with a black background?
Thanks! Yes I did :oD
Very cool! Stunning!!!
lovely textures in both versions!
