I do not get to select a color, and I do not let my stong inclination of doping details.
That's a really good exercise for me! Because I like to get of my comfort zone and let the brush go fast with as little detail as I can manage.

What a great idea! I have never thought about using leftover paint to do a portrait. I will have to try this the next time I have a lot left from a project.
Love the colors!
When to stop? I know! I ask that same question over and over again.
Left over paints are inspiring, and painting with them isn't so conscious. That's good. And you face is good, so expressive!
Oh she is definitely thinking deep. Great eyes.
Look at that, the colours are great & speed gives it a feeling of catching a fleeting moment.
Wonderful face, love the colours, too. Happy PPF, Hugs, Valerie
Love all the colors in the face, Martha.
Great idea and beautiful face! I tried to loosen up and then it becomes contrived!

Great mix of color!
Wonderful technique and wonderful face. Interesting, indeed.
Happy PPF xx
That's a great idea, to use leftover paints like that. I usually use it just for making backgrounds in a sketchbook, but I really like this idea. And your portrait looks great with these colours!
I also do this but with landscapes - it's a great way to use up left over paint. I love the colours you've used here - those aqua shades around her eyes - wonderful!
A wonderful face today!
she's wonderful with all those colors!
I love the mix of colors in this face! The way you angle the face makes me wonder what is subject is viewing, almost as if they are daydreaming or looking off in the distance.
Hello Ayala!!!! I love this face! I also love that you take left over paint and just go for it. Your art is dynamic and full of emotion. So glad to see you again.

What wonderful colors! And such a fun exercise. I often do this with my leftover paints, too. :D
Such a good idea, just to use the colours you have. And you have still painted such a colourful face with an intriguing expression. I like her green skin.
Love that face. It is so loose and colorful!
Love how you are using the left over paint! Great color in this one. :)
I love this idea. Your painting is so creative and what FUN. Blessings, Janet PPF (Thanks for the visit.)
