Finished the Modigliani's lady

And here she is....
As close a replica as I can do. The challenge for me is to do a similar painting, since I am so bad at following instructions, or replicate styles.

tip: Do you want to watermark your photos? Download the awesome program picture shark! I was missing it so bad when I lost all my computer stuff, now I have it back ♥

When I finish this challenge I will be having a giveaway so keep an eye open :o)

I think you did a wonderful job of it! While not being an exact copy, you've done a masterful job of replicating it in his style.(No one wants to make an "exact" copy anyway, it's sort of like trying to steal an artist's soul!)Great job!

Thanks! I just want to replicate brush work for exercise and learn really close from a painter. It is hard! And I have learned a lot from it ☺

Beautiful finished painting! You've done a good job of giving it the feel of a Modigliani! I'll check back to learn more about the giveaway! :D

I think you have done an amazing job of working within Modigliani's style but making it your own. It's recognizable as being influenced by him, but as an homage, not an attempt to copy his distinct style.

Lynn Cohen said...

Wow! What an expression she has and these colors just sing! I'll be back here!
