This is one more page in my little journal, in steps:
Typically my faces are smiling... This one was a bit sad, frumpy and tired. I guess it's how I'm feeling? lol At the end and with more color and highlights, she looks better. Her hair is hilarious! :o)
Now that I have more available creative time, I will finish editing some videos.
Don't forget to check my "8 years blogging" Giveaway HERE, there's still chance to win, grab the blog button in the bar! I close on August 26th Pacific time.
Isn't it funny how our feelings come out on the canvas. Looks like you're in need of a break ;-) Love the little blue spots in her face ....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I thought she looked a bit sad, like maybe she's regretting that it is the end of summer too. Just the same, her features are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny..people often think I'm sad or grumpy because that's the emotion I choose to paint often, but, I'm not. I just like painting emotion, and painting sadness comes easy for me. If I am in a sad mood, I'm more likely to paint a happy, smiling face because it's hard to be sad when you're painting a smile. :) Weird, I know!
ReplyDeleteI think she is precious!! Well done my friend ;o) I mailed my face to you on monday ;o) Hugs ;o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I love her hair, how fun!
ReplyDeleteWonderful artwork with expressive colors!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, though pensive. This is my first visit with you and I am impressed with your art. She may look sad, but I bet you had fun with her, especially with the orange hair :)
