Day 11 laughing girl sketch

This is my face for this day, it is a little girl laughing ...maybe she is having fun looking at the skull?

I changed a few things in the skull from a few posts ago. I like her much better now!

Day 10 Need to finish this one!

Some people have time to work better over the weekends... not me. I still do a little but not as much as I always think I will do.
But, there's always time for a sketch, no matter were we are!

Day 9, big plans

I have big plans for this lady here! Earthy tones for her... if I have time I will update later today, if not, I will post her new version in the next posts.

How are you doing in your personal goals for the challenge?

My daughter is joining too, 4 faces today:

Day 8 of 29. Playing with pencil...

...and a bit of color ! Being a weekend and everyone here with plans, I know I don't have time to do much for my face but knowing myself I will do something more than just aqua!
I like how the paper printed lines show still.

Can you believe we are starting week two?

Day 7 of 29. A worried skull

We don't have to like everything we do, right? LOL I'm just going to leave it for covering later on. She has in my opinion some salvageable features, I kind of like the horrible teeth, but the things on the head...? yuck! Wrong color.

Oh well.... We can't win them all can we? ;o)

Day 6 of 29 faces. Video!

I started this page with a red background, then cleaned my brush with some yellow paint, just basically dragging  it on the paper, nothing fancy, but I like the results on that first layer.

Then I grabbed my camera and started to paint.

Day 5 - Art Journal Page

OK, so this one is all crazy. I will have to come back and do something to it in more realistic flesh tones, but my goal is loosing my brush stroke. Pretty loose if you ask me! hahaha

Keep your paintbrush wet!

Day 4 of 29 faces

Pencil sketch girl portrait. This is one of my little girls I always make in ACEO size but the challenge was to make her larger. I think she actually looks better than in a smaller size, easier to draw for sure even if kind of funky changing dimensions once you get used to draw one size of features.

Tomorrow I will tackle my journal pages!
Are you having fun with your faces? (Do I even have to ask? lol)

29 Faces challenge, day 3

I am so thrilled to get all the emails from both blogs, yesterday was crazy busy with so many happy people loving the 29 faces challenge! It is simply amazing. I am sending a hug to all and each of you!
You make February gray winter days sunny!

We went to the movies yesterday to see Groundhog day, right on Groundhog day! How awesome is that haahha They have been showing old movies at the cinema and next Sunday is Sleepless in Seattle, another favorite of mine.

Well, inspired by the rodent (and challenged by Jeanette House to make animal faces lol) I made this little pencil sketch, then I decided to add a shadow in the computer  so it looks different than the pencil, and I added the text bubble.

See you tomorrow, keep making faces!

29 Faces challenge, day 1

Happy beginning of the month!  Happy 29 Faces challenge!

I am posting 3 faces today, just in case I get too busy in the next couple of days. Last time I had about 100 emails a day and I absolutely love it, but doesn't leave much time to create (•‿-)
So here are one, two and three:

My personal challenge is to loosen my brush and free my backgrounds.
Knowing myself I will go back and work on them some more, but I really enjoyed letting go and make some abstract.
Remember to post a hashtag #29faces in the networks, so we can click that and find each other! And also use the tag/label in you blog post.

Oh! Happy Chinese new year too!

May we all get unstuck from wherever we were!
