Traveling doll from the BBQs (how to add eyes)

Little Madga is such a funny girl! The first thing she said when she came to visit me was “Are the lights out?” I thought she was kidding, but then I realized she still didn’t have eyes! So I told her it was a sunny day, and she was soon to see it. We found a nice pair of glass eyes and after getting Emily’s OK, we removed her eyelashes and started to work on her face. To see this is the tutorial please visit my doll blog HERE
Thanks!

  7. From what I understand with this project you are not suppose to alter another artists work, what the heck happened here? Where is the former artists creativity. You Michael Jacksoned her.

  9. Thank you all for your positive comments!
You too julie hamaker, thanks for your comment. I am guessing you are Emily’s mom, right?
This is all about altering a doll, each member in the team. I added more clay than planned because of the glass eyes, which is a nice addition to any doll but the basic doll is still there. And I had already offered Emily a solution to her disliking my work, maybe you need an update from her.
You are entitled to your opinion, but I always think that our words speak more about ourselves than the subject, including insults and unkind words.

  10. This kind of negitivity takes the fun out of it for everyone. I am in a traveling doll thing in another group. When I got the girls doll, its toes were broken off, She told me to do waht ever I want to it.. Its all about learning new ways , from other artists, and just having fun.
