My face today is quite dramatic I think, with all that red... #23
Usually I like to paint smiling faces, but this one is a bit sad. Reminds me of my friend.
Here are some of the steps while painting this page in my art journal:
I have to make the extra again, since yesterday I only finished the one I had unfinished.
Maybe I will do another page with a dramatic color for the background (๏‿๏)
I often have a red red red face...I live with Lupus and it shows up quickly on my face when I forget sunscreen. She is wonderful! Have a great weekend 1!! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
You captured the sadness so beautifully, and the black hair is so striking against the red background. Thanks for showing some of your steps, I always love seeing others works in process, and I always forget to photograph my own.
It is dramatic with the red. I think you mae a nice face.

I love your woman in red, dear Martha - and I love to see her genesis :)

ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorites all month - there's so much emotion, and her eyes really pop.
