I painted a sort of reproduction, but not quite so.

Easy Way to FIX Messed up Sketchbook Pages

This is how I fix a face that was painted with acrylic paints, on my Art Journal. It's easy and fun! Sometimes we just want to paint a page (or canvas) for fun, and later on we see that the results were a bit off kilter. It works for beginner artists painters with more experience ♥

Changing the color value in a painting

Color Value is so important when you are painting and don't feel like the page or canvas is working, like, something is missing. Try re painting More contrast in your color value!

EASY #GelliPrinting BACKGROUNDS for Beginners - Monochromatic Colors 👈

Updates and art

Hey artsy people!

About a year ago we move states, besides selling a house, renting another, decluttering/downsizing in between, and keeping an eye where we were going to live next.... it's been crazy to say the least.

After all that planning and organizing, we arrived to have the horrid Siberian express cold... and no furniture 😂😅😓

I can laugh about it now, but seriously it was awful. 

When the nice weather finally arrived, I tripped on the concrete patio, while gardening- and broke my wrist. That took many months to be in pain, heal, rehabilitate my arm, all that while cussing and being a very bad patient lol

The only thing that kept me going literally, was my loving family and painting.

I was going to say family and "Art", but then you were going to ask... who is Art? lol

So, now that I can open the paint bottles by myself again, I want to revive this blog, and my art channel and invite you to do the same, in case you were uninspired.

Spring is around the corner and I can hear the mojo calling my name.

Easy BumbleBee in Acrylics and Gelli Plate (and a gel printing hack!)

I Eco-printed a paper HERE and HERE then I drew a bumble bee and printed a background with my gel plate.

Gelatin printing AND Art Foamies!

I love gelatin printing and I love stamps! Today's project is a lot of fun and super relaxing!

Grab your deli paper HERE

Print or add layers to old printed paper. Watch me printing in this video HERE

Then select a shape, any shape you like or something that matches the celebration of the month (Easter bunny, Christmas tree, Hearts, flowers etc)

Grab your Art Foamies,  In this case I am using an alphabet from Balzer Designs and I love it!

Once you select what mono-printed paper you want, make your "mask out of a sturdy paper. I used a folder paper from the dollar store!

Pick a color, roll it on your gel plate, make marks as extra texture then place your paper with your mask on it to create a "negative space" print and...

Add your Art Foamies Stamps!

I wanted the word Sparkle, but you can personalize with any favorite word!

If you are not into gelatin printing (yet!) then simply paint  your shape and have fun with the Art Foamies stamping!

Awesome Art Foamies Stamps! Colorful Tutorial & Techniques

I love totally creating art with stamps! I was invited by the Art Foamies to create a project iwht some of their designs and the #ArtFoamies are simply wonderful!

These I'm using in this art video are from Sandra Evertson and from Gina Ahrens.

The steps are easy and I enjoyed every single part of the art process:

I worked on a large journal page but it can definitely be done on a canvas.

First step, Gesso the surface and paint a background with your favorite colors, I selected sky blue.

I made a template of the silhouette I wanted to use for a mask to avoid stamping in some areas:

With the botanical design I stamped in the background with different colors to give the background depth and interest: [Pic 3]

The heart Foamie was stamped on a colorful paper to collage it separately: [Pic 4]

With a tissue paper, or deli paper, you can create a new design pattern paper to add as well in your composition. [Pic 5] - [Pic 6]

Painting abstract flowers in acrylic paint (Art journal ideas)

For those that love painting flowers, or wish they could... don't be afraid! And don't think that the only way to paint is Realistic because Abstract, Folk or Figurative styles are a lot of fun!

For practice and for the actual joy of painting in paper, I recommend to use your Art Journal it is so much fun, then you see all the colorful pages.

If you are a beginner artist, this is an Easy way to create and practice painting Botanical Art ♥
