A Page idea for the Traveling book

This page is more sort of a portrait, with 2 faces, and it is still in progress, but here we go!
It is made for one of the traveling books :oD  I will post the end result when I'm done.

Just hello

Hello there!
I have been working hard at my channel but neglecting a bit my blog. I will try to adjust or unify both so the blog doesn't stay behind :o)
This is just a personal post, tomorrow I will have a new video, so check again or subscribe to see it as soon as it is up in the channel

The last few days, actually a whole week already! I've been sick with a terrible flu bug. I rarely get sick so it is extra annoying :oP (Not that ever a flu is welcome).

I'm sharing this cartoon from  Lunarbaboon, visit his page, it is fantastic! But this one in particular is awesome. Enjoy!

Video collaborations!

Hey guys! I have been doing video-collabs, as you have seen here in my blog and in my youtube channel

And after getting a few questions about how it works, I want to explain it in this post and invite creatives with a channel to collaborate with me (*and by that I mean single media like oil, acrylic or watercolor,  or mixed media painters and maybe polymer clay, but not digital art, card or paper art etc.... since I am focusing in painting only for now).

The most important part of this is timing and being punctual.

My collabs are a team of 2 people with a youtube channel.
These are the steps: Please read all ♥

*We contact each other in private, exchange addresses, agree on size, calendar date to schedule and a theme if any.

*We make a video of our own starting piece, where each person does as much or as little as wanted to the starting piece.

*Video gets edited, uploaded and linked to the other channel.

*The piece is mailed to the other person (mine to you, yours to me).

*Once we get the art piece in the mail: Both artists tape a second video of the additions to the painting. Edit, etc. If you record the opening of the parcel, MAKE SURE personal info like address etc is not shown in your video!

*Upload at the agreed time (which can be a couple of weeks depending on schedule!). Link to each other's videos.

*Mail the artwork back to the original author. Both parties get their original piece, finished by the other artist.
*We both promote the videos in our favorite networks.
*You retain the copy rights of what you painted, which means if you want to make prints of what you created to finish the canvas, it is OK.

Note: I cannot emphasize enough the importance of Timing: This type of activity only works and is fun, if the participants MAIL and work on time.
If there is a chronic illness that doesn't allow to follow a schedule, or a known problem with the local postal service, or a long trip planned, a surgery coming up, or if there is *any* other situation that will not allow you to do as agreed.... PLEASE do not get involved at this time.
I waited to hear from a person that asked me to participate and did not return my painting nor send me one to work on, close to 4 months later. That kills the fun in a hurry.

So, thank you to all the people that have participated/collab nicely with me! ♥ ♥ ♥
Interested? Drop me an e-mail

Note 2: if you want to post the image I painted, please upload with a watermark, it is very sad when it gets Pinned with no name, or stolen for profit. At least the watermark gives them more trouble, and it has a name where to see more about the author ♥

I confess...

I confess I have been busy but not posting in my blog. Somehow at times fb feels easier and I do not elaborate much there (otherwise known as ranting lol)
But here are my cartoons of the week so far. I posted Monday, and here come Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Click on the images to see them larger.

I will be working on the comics for the other days too, so keep an eye on my blog to see them next :oD

 Have a good weekend!

I changed a bit my banner..

Last night, after so many days of cake (3 birthdays in a row!) I was in a sugar rush I guess, so I decided to work on my banner. I have been using the little face as a logo for years, but I wanted her smiling. Of course I don't have the larger original, after so many computer crashes *sight* But I had some in a workable size and now it is backed up.
Don't forget to back up your images people! I personally do not like the" cloud", but many do, either disc, online or any other way, remember to back up.
I cannot even tell you the amount of stuff I have lost due to a virus or a computer digital tantrum, so annoying!

Anyway, now I have a smiling banner.

And I made a comic. Hate Mondays lol

So I'm just splashing paint and after I scanned, decided to play with the image too:

Looks to me almost like a cartoon tree with a face ha!

Bunch of friends

These are 4 faces today! Cartoon style.
My version of the story:
Tommy took his girlfriend (and her friends) to watch a funny comedy to the movies but she was all teary eyed, while one of the friends was stealing all the popcorn and the other was all mad.
Over all, this was not a good date for Tommy.

My daughter said: "There are all strangers. Tommy is looking upon the uncalled for tears of the girl in purple, while the girl in pink is SO into the scene that she is eating the popcorn of the polka dot woman, who is not a fan of the movie, and is deeply disturbed, at a stranger eating her popcorn, which is very expensive at the movies."

What is your story version of this drawing? :oD
