(The winner of the giveaway will be in a different post!

First, here is my face #1 for the 29 faces challenge. An ACEO: (check for a video on her making, tomorrow!)

 Now the news:
If you have read my blog before, you probably know I am participating in an art exhibit, in Moss Norway, organized by David Sandum for the women and children center (which had a budget cut) So far, 75 artworks (postcard size) have been sold, that is great!
Sarah Wiske made a nice video with tons of images see it HERE
And this is a screen shot of one of the pieces I sent:

News from Moss

David Sandum ( @DavidSandumArt ) organized again a great world wide art exhibit via twitter in Moss Norway. It is for a great cause: to help women and children in need. The opening night was April 12th with about 130 postcard size art works from 31 different countries. So exiting!

This is one of the pieces I am participating with:

I posted it before but here's a close up:

I also sent another one, which I'm afraid I did not scan after it was finished. That was around the time all my equipment started to act up and not cooperating. Ugh.

In other news... I am ready to take pictures of the painting I just finished. I like a smaller size that I can scan for truer colors, but at the same time, i am enjoying so much painting a bit larger too, and have to catch the right light and time of day.

See you soon!

Twitter-Art-Exhibit (140 Charachters) in Moss, Norway

I had posted about the twitter exhibit before, but I just got an email from David Sandum about the Twitter-Art-Exhibit (140 Characters) in Moss, Norway with more pictures. I participated with 2 Frida Kahlo inspired paintings, and was so exited to hear one sold right away and the other one a few days later. This was for the benefit of their local children's Library and was a total success, having people from many countries sending art to help with funds. Here are some pictures:

It was a total success... Congrats David!

My art hangs here...

I am dancing in the clouds.... It is with great pleasure that I show this links to the Art Show in Moss, Norway. I am lucky to be part of it with 2 Frida art cards that were mailed to help get funds for books in their Library.
David Samdum had this great idea of making the first Twitter and Art International show and has done so much work to put all of this together!
I blurred the other art but click on each pic to see the walls as it is displayed. .

One already sold in the first day! :oD I wish I was there... cold, snow and all!
