2 little faces and comment

I will start with the comment, so skip to the pictures if you don't want to read rants hahhaa

As I was visiting blogs, I read Denthe talking about the google+ profile. My opinion is that I do not like it one bit.
I don't have time to go yet into another network, and it is VERY invasive! I originally went in there to check it out, like I check a bunch of other sites and then I delete them if I don't like them. Well guess what? You can't delete that profile once you join! They should call it "Hotel California" ...Well, technically you can leave, but it will delete all your other related sites, like the blog, YT channel and some other things I can't remember, but it is pretty much anything using that particular ID/email.

To me, that is ridiculous. And also, you can't really contact the person that posts in your blog to say "hi back" unless you add them to your list. Maybe you do not want to have a list!
I am still getting people adding me and I can't do anything about it. I am not posting there and I can't stop from being "updated" or decline invites, like you can in other networks... didn't they say it  was going to be much better? I don't get it.

That was my ranting for the day. {◔_◔} 

Now for the faces: I doodle while waiting in one of my errands today. I made the 2 on the left and my daughter made the guy on the right with the weird balloon. :oP

Cupid Angel

Took me forever and a half but it is done, edited, and just waiting for YT to finish uploading. I just didn't want to wait longer to make my post here because as it is, I'm late to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's day! This is the little thing I was working on yesterday and today.
I will add the video as soon as it is ready and will have a larger image in my doll blog :o)

 My hunny brought me roses and I, in exchange, burnt his dinner to a crisp... :o(
 Isn't that always the case? Today of all times, I wanted to make something really yummy, and it was, I guess, but a bit too crispy.

Just a little hint...

Today I painted a lot, and made a video, but then I had to run errands and do a bunch of house stuff and I ran out of good daylight for finishing taping the video, so I will just do the last details tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to edit fast!
So anyway, I will just post a little hint :o)

 

My daughter had a bunch of homework so I don't have anything to post from her, plus she is ahead of the game... I'm not :oP
I thought I had already made the extra one, but turns out I haven't! Better get busy...

A little tribute 12 of 29 faces

My post today is more positive. I decided to just think of my friend with all the good things she enjoyed. I don't want to think  of what she couldn't do or the years of friendship that we won't have.
So I will celebrate her life.

She loved warm and hot days, not cold. She moved to Los Angeles based just on the weather :o)
She loved black shoes, the color red, and  all kinds of fruit. She loved wearing mascara and perfume and french braids. She loved to walk by the beach, flowers and shells. She liked pop music and song birds, she hated cigarettes. She loved flavored coffee creamer. She liked cushy pillows and fancy comforters. She hated December and January and insisted in wearing short skirts just to spite the weather. :o)   In her mind it was always summer.
She was very strong minded, determined and independent.

I made a folk painting. It is not finished but that's all for today.

And my daughter is way ahead of me! She made 3 faces today! I just love how easy it is for her to make emotions on her characters... These are her 12th, 13th, and 14th faces:

A couple of days ago I was told about the death of a dear friend. She was only 47, and she was always so healthy and mindful of her life choices, doing exercise, not smoking... etc. And she had a tumor in her head, that came back again shortly after a surgery. I feel so bad that I was not there for her. I didn't even know.... I am broken hearted. I really couldn't believe it till I spoke to her sister today.

Life is too short. Love today, talk to your friends today, hug your parents today and don't hesitate to do what you really like, because today is all we have.

day 10 of 29 faces

I gave the Leonardo inspired lady a layer of ochre and added some charcoal.Then I thought she needed a spark of color and the poor thing ended up looking like she is wearing a dead eggplant on top of the head. :oP
I think I will take the blue off, but I wanted to show you:

My daughter is a little better but still sneezing and with a stuffy nose, poor thing. Anyway, she made a cartoon character from Adventure Time, Marceline. (This version is cuter, in case you have not seen the cartoon, which is pretty scary lol)

The character was rescued by a guy that went crazy and doesn't remember things anymore, and there's a song that I want to share with you.... it's been stuck in my head now for days! Grab a kleenex, the singer is adorable!

Late post

Today was complicated. I woke up with a terrible headache. When I was feeling better, my daughter started to feel sick and she had a fever, poor thing :o(
We went out to enjoy the sunny day even if the wind was cold, it felt good.
Later on I came to work on my blue painting from yesterday, and this is the result. I am not done yet:

I know, most people said to leave it at that stage, so I compromised.
I actually made a larger print, prepped it, and went for it with skin tones, which over green don't look so warm but it is interesting.

We are starting our 2nd week, can you believe it?

Well, I was too busy doing other things, so all I have it a WIP for today. I want to keep painting, but my daughter tells me I should leave her like that...
You will see tomorrow what happened, if I kept painting or not lol

6th and 7th of 29 and a funny goat

Two faces for me today! but I'm just giving you a little sneak peek with an outline effect. I will show the actual painting later on, it is part of an awesome project! ;oD

And I hope my daughter's work for the day, face #7, won't give you nightmares; she says it is a gossipy goat..... hahaha
