I am combining my face #11 with a video for the CAC hashtag event #LoveArt
Watch the video to see how she ends up looking at the end. Thanks for visiting! ♥

As I finished this sketch, I noticed the paper gave her a "princess Leia" hairdo, so I might follow that direction when I paint her lol
I truly love the papers Pam from Always Artistic, picked for this little journal ♥

I made 3 little sketches, I am liking this color paper instead of the white, seems like there is already a background, even if I did not add a thing :o)
Faces 21, 22, 23
I know I will be adding more color to these little girls.
This is a simple outlined face, in yellow paper, no watercolor. The yellow makes a big contrast looking energetic, even when she is peacefully looking at you :o)
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you are enjoying your challenge!
I made this sketch with pencil and darkened a little digitally. We are almost all done with the challenge!
I also made this one earlier, when I originally read about the teacher telling the little boy his left hand was "bad"... some people should not be near schools, much less teachers.
But out of that negativity, we made in the 29 faces group, many, many! left art art. ♥
I made this drawing while waiting for my husband in the car on an errand. It is in red card stock that I used to make a little sketchbook...
I have been SO busy with the video art collabs, the video editing and the new 2 online classes (registration open now! see HERE) bu I can always make a little time for a sketched face ♥ We are almost at the end of the 29 faces!
What is new for me this time around is the position of the heads when I draw or paint, and in this case the hair... isn't she cute wiht that short style?
This is just a quick charcoal sketch on an envelop, because I like the color, but the surface was very unevenly sleep in parts and rough in others...? Still was fun to make a face when in a hurry. :oP
I made this little sketch in less than 10 minutes. Pencil on card stock. That goes to prove that we can do something fun every day. I edited digitally to make the colors stronger, I like the results. Somehow the white turned into pink blue and purple... :o)
I love the Getty Museum. Not only you see tons of art, you also have the chance of feel their great weather up there. So we went for mother's day. Great gift for me, to spend the whole day there, having lunch, taking pictures, enjoying the weather and visiting the 4 buildings ♥
These beautiful orchids were part of my day too. Gift from my DH.
One of their changing exhibit included 3 drawings by Klimt, and one painting by Alphonse Mucha, along with many others, but those were my favorites. Photography in those rooms is not allowed, but I found some pictures online.

...and so little post to show it!
Funny when I'm running the 29 faces challenge I seem to be always around the blog, but even when I am still doing as much art, for one reason or another I don't come here to post :oP
For one thing, I am doing the 100 day project and posting it all in (gasp!) Instagram. Yes, I know, I left tons of networks with a self memo not to join anything anymore, and I have been happy that way, but this one project runs there and felt like a big incentive, and I found out taking a pic with the iPad and posting/sharing from there too is a lot easier.... BUT I do not like it as a place to socialize. I think it is as bad as Pinterest and less organized. Not for me except for posting my 100 projects.
With all that said, here is an image of some of the stuff posted there:
I haven't taken pictures or scan them so all I have is the iPad image.
In other news, I have a new video too!
Can you tell I have been in a neon pink kind of mood? :oD
If you want to make a video art-collab with me, let me know! You have to have a youtube channel though ;o)
It's been a while since I do not paint any aceo, so for the last couple of days i have been sketching, painting, scanning... soon I will list in my shop ;o)
I made a face yesterday but didn't make it to the scanner... so today I am working on another face and posting early.
These 2 ladies are faces 27 and 28 of the challenge and also are the faces of 2 traveling journals!
The one with the sun in the forehead is for Gina, and the one with the moon is for Anita. You will see them finished in another post, along with all the other ones that I have been finishing without scanning.
I cannot believe we are about to finish another round of 29 faces!
The weather was beautiful today! I ran my errands early, some chores and then I went out among some light rain and some sunshine. Beautiful!
So basically I got home and rushed to finish more stuff, one of them being the face of today. I decided on charcoal. I still need to work on the eyes, but since I am aiming at loose brushstrokes .... I will leave it at that and go back to paintbrushes for now :oD
If I start getting into details I will never stop lol
This weekend was full of surprises. Not all of them the fun kind :oP Lets just say that I didn't have much time to do art, but I made these in the hopes to not fall behind :oP
#22 is one of my girls, but just at the sketch point.
#23 is a crazy mono-printed paper with my gelatine pad. This actually was one I was going to get rid of, but I totally saw a woman there, so I marked the features with my charcoal pencil. can you see her? Click to see larger.
Are you keeping up? Sometimes life goes bananas... we just have to do what we can to hold on tight (-'‿'-)
Working loose. Keeping my lines simple. This is just for the challenge, later on *I know* that this face will be having a bunch of layers of paint.... lol
I can see it in my minds eye :oD
Last night, after so many days of cake (3 birthdays in a row!) I was in a sugar rush I guess, so I decided to work on my banner. I have been using the little face as a logo for years, but I wanted her smiling. Of course I don't have the larger original, after so many computer crashes *sight* But I had some in a workable size and now it is backed up.
Don't forget to back up your images people! I personally do not like the" cloud", but many do, either disc, online or any other way, remember to back up.
I cannot even tell you the amount of stuff I have lost due to a virus or a computer digital tantrum, so annoying!
I usually use charcoal in a different manner, but in this sketch I just
made the face and stopped right there. Not even shadowing.
As we are coming to the end of the challenge, I'd like to know if you have learned something new about yourself, your likes and dislikes. Specially those that are new to the 29 faces.
