Have you practiced making faces looking to the side?
I used only cool colors for the page background, mostly very watery and runny.
Try to do something unusual for the 29 faces!

Oh, she is very interesting. Looks almost sad. Great job Martha.:) Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThank You very much for Your tip. I promice to try :-)
ReplyDeleteYour painting is very beautiful and I like Your bold way to use watercolors.
I have yet to use watercolour for skin tones - it’s very intimidating for me and you do it so well!
ReplyDeleteLike the colours Martha & think I will try a side profile-good tip!
ReplyDeleteYou have created such an expressive face. The eyes really are the window into our inner selves. A three-quarter and a profile are definitely on my agenda. I am so rusty. Never again will I totally stop drawing faces. It's almost like starting over again.
ReplyDeleteI like these kind of profiles, they make the head also tilt in a very expressive way.
